I really doubt Raptors are gonna get Bynum. Don't see a need for him. Raptors main issue isn't starting, it's with the bench. Sure, Raptors don't have a Heat,Knicks,Spurs,Thunder level starting lineup, but their starting lineup compared to the rest of the league is good enough to be a playoff team in the east. Their bench is what sucks though.


Raptors ideal lineup(Amnesty on Bargnani,Fields gone too)
C: JV
PF: Johnson/Acy
SF: Gay
SG: DeRozan/Ross
PG: Lowry/Lucas

So what the Raptors need for sure is a backup C, backup SF, possibly backup PG(so Lucas becomes 3rd string PG) and then the 12th man on the bench could either be a draft pick(if we're able to trade Fields for a 2nd pick) or just some combo guy(like C/PF or SG/PG).

With that said...who do people think are the best BACKUP Cs and BACKUP SFs in free agency?

I'm sorry, but has anyone else heard this bizarre rumor that Stephen A Smith apparently started of Blake Griffin, Eric Bledsoe, and Caron Butler being traded to Boston for KG, Pierce, and Doc Rivers (a coach?)... what in the hell?

I get that CP3 and Blake supposedly don't get along but good lord, if the Clippers are that stupid...

I would trade Blake for Doc lol. But you can't trade a player for a coach WHAT IS GOING ON?!

Near the trade deadline the Celtics were shopping KG and almost traded him for Caron Butler and Eric Bledsoe. The Celtics accepted the trade (I believe), then KG refused to leave Boston.

Stephen A Smith brought it up yesterday or the day before. There's absolutely no way I see it actually happening though.
