I don't understand why the NBA would open this can of worms.

If the product isn't broke, don't try and fix it.

Well I doubt considering how scrawny KD is that he uses anything, lol. I would also be very shocked if LBJ used PED's. Lebron just happened to be blessed by the good Lord with his body.

I dont see PED's to be much of a issue in the NBA, not saying there isnt any trying to gain a edge and cheat, but Basketball isnt like football, or baseball, where strength is huge for success. I know now days the PED's isnt all about building muscle, and their is stuff out there to help with hand eye cordination, and help heal quicker from injuries, so Im sure the NBA isnt 100% clean, but I would be extremely shocked if there was a huge problem like there was in baseball at 1 time, and the issue in football.

Considering how Stern did do things, and Adam Silver being basically taught everything he knows by Stern, if there were quite a few big names like Lebron, Kobe, KD, etc, I could see him try to quietely sweep it under the rug. Hopefully Silver ends up being a better Commissioner than Stern was, although Stern did add a lot of positives to the NBA, but I dont see him being much different than what Stern was unfortunately.

The small amount of roster spots and the global competition for them alone makes PEDS & HGH use in the league highly likely.

No doubt players have been using this stuff. I know I would if I needed to recover quickly. Playing 4-5 games a week and traveling is a lot to ask from the body especially careers that last more than a decade. Plus players are playing all summer internationally too, I dunno how these guys do it.

Re: Are you ready for the NBA to start HGH Testing?

Idk man. My fist couples years of college I went and played every single day for 4-5 hours.. Now I'm not at all trying to compare a pickup game to an NBA game but that's a lot more running, jumping, banging than just 35 minutes a night for 3 or so nights a week.

Especially considering all high tech equipment they have designed just for aiding in them recovering, professional chefs and trainers, hours of game prep and stretching, immediate icing and doctoring... All I had was a dorm bed, caf food, and ibuprofen lol.

Yeah but you were young with a lot less mileage. these nba players have been playing non stop since they were in middle school.

Definitely, but I was by no means a professional athlete, with the type of training these guys have. I understand they have tons of mileage on them, but they are trained and prepped for it.

What does this matter though? I understand it's a much higher level but I don't understand how that matters in correlation to what I said in my post..

The NBA is obviously a higher lever than pick up games. But the playing field is leveled. Those guys are professionals playing against professionals, I was average playing against average. Sorta balances out no?
