I wonder what effect it will have on the league. Will guys get injured longer or look smaller?

I just think a good number players have been using in the last decade since it hasn't been tested. Especially those contract years where players have to press more that season.

I don't know how I feel.... You know I never guessed a basketball player would benefit from this stuff. But I guess when you look guys at like LeBron. You have to wonder. I'd be really hurt if anyone gets caught.

Rashard Lewis did and his game suffered once he was removed from it.

For the most part Lewis was a spot up shooter, even in his prime.. He may have been caught with stuff but I don't think it's what made his game, or his decline.

Still believe if HGH was being used by NBA players it would almost purely be used by those trying to return from injury.. It's has no real long term effects that aid in basketball related skills, just increases recovery time. HGH is not a steroid, it's not going to make you bigger, faster, stronger the way a steroid potentially can.. And from my knowledge of it, long term use can lead to a reverse effect.. Problems with muscle pains, joint pains and swelling, etc. Can't see these guys trying to cure muscle fatigue with something that may cause ankle and knee pain.

Lewis took an over the counter steroid.. Basically a pro hormone which you can buy at GNC or any other supplement shop. And he supposedly only took it towards the end of one season with Orlando.

Thats basically my thinking to on NBA players using HGH, probably more of trying to gte back from a injury than anything else.

In some ways I actually have some respect for a guy just trying to get back from a injury to play the game. Especially considering how lazy some are nowdays that are just fine probably collecting their money and setting out due to a injury.

I think that more or less what Andy Petitte was trying to do when he used HGH, unlike a guy like Bonds or Arod who were strictly trying to get a edge in performance.
