Pelicans GM is a turd. Gave Asik a ton of money this offseason, bad trades overall.

This Jazz team is a bit frustrating. Lose a game, win a game, lose a game, win a game... Just haven't been able to string wins together. Of course it's hard with Gobert (and Exum) injured but we should be beating the Kings/Magics/Blazers of the league.

Most of the teams out west are inconsistent

Ever realized that maybe the Jazz just aren't that good?

They are near dead last in almost every offensive metric and are an atrocious rebounding team.

Couple that with youth/inconsistency and injuries to your best defenders, not sure what else you expect.

FWIW, the Magic are a better team than the Jazz.

Well, the Jazz are 1-4 now without Gobert in the lineup. He's arguably the most important piece to the team. For all of his flaws offensively, there's no denying that he is a game changer on defense.

Indiana is a better team than Orlando, yet the Jazz beat them twice. Some teams just have each others' number, and it certainly didn't help that Gobert was out for both games against Orlando.

I will say that depth is a big issue with the team. The talent drop off after the top 6 or 7 players is huge.

I haven't really commented on the Warriors streak yet, but I predict it ends this Friday in Boston

Mike Stauffer coming in with the Hot Take.

Eagle Dollar woke up this morning with his hands in the air, celebrating the threes that haven't even been taken yet.
