And apparently he had the credentials they asked for.

No surprise they dump this out on a Friday.

From what I read, he had credentials, but not the "correct kind"? And "aggressively presented his lanyard", whatever that means.

What kind of lanyard gives him access to be standing in the tunnel, maybe even by the bench, but not on the court?

I have no idea about this situation, but like I mentioned before the passes and lanyards you get at the Grizz games that give you access to the tunnel and floor seats do not give you any sort of access to floor itself.

This whole thing is one big fat lie that we knew sure to having some of it on video, but had to be unwound due to said lies.

Cop has about 27 different stories, no video or witness proof, yet somehow people still took his side which was preventable, all over a lanyard

Now they're claiming he showed it in a threatening manner which is ridiculously laughable and just gives more understanding why they do things like retweeting Richard Spencer posts and have the highest amount of civil payouts in Oakland.

The one piece of evidence shown were PICTURES. Not even videos. So from certain angles, you can make it seem way worse than it was.

And through all this, Masai has said nothing. Shows what he thinks about all of it. He knows that guy is just digging his own grave.

No one on Masai's side or the Raptors side should or will say anything.

I was asked this a couple days ago. "Has the team defended him or said anything about the incident?" No. Why should they?

Let the lawyers handle. Public opinion is going to go whichever way it wants no matter their comments. The best recourse is to let your money + legal system handle and hope you get out alive.

I really wish there was a precedent for recourse in these and other situations.
