Yeah his shooting translating quickly is a big key for him. Obviously he needs to develop his lower body stability, he doesn't hold position all that well. But aside from that it's just learning and adjusting to the NBA game. Better offensive, defensive, and rebounding instincts will come with time, he's basically fresh out of HS in terms of in-game action.

Haliburton is going to make an all defensive team sometime within the next 3 seasons. This dude is "omnipresent" as Clyde would say.

His BBIQ, anticipation, etc. is off the charts. He's already one of the smartest, most instinctual players in the league.

I never cared about us passing on Donovan Mitchell because no one saw him coming. Haliburton, the dude who was mocked in the Top 6 all season, was BPA (IMO) and was at our biggest position of need. This one is going to sting for a long time unless we get our PG of the future in the coming draft.
