He doesn't have any leverage in the matter since he has 4 years on his deal. Only California team that has any worthwhile assets is Sacramento. I don't see the Dame situation changing, so likely will end up being a 3 team trade.

Re: 2021 Offseason Thread

I feel like Philly should have just traded him instead of asking for a star, plus young pieces, plus like 15 picks. They are at the point now where they basically have to trade him but teams aren't giving up what they would have before all this with him basically forcing his way out. Dude doesn't even want to show up for camp, why overpay for him?

Best case scenario at this point IMO would be De'Aaron Fox swap. Unless Dame is all of a sudden available I don't know what better "win now" guy they could get at a position they need. And the Kings with Haliburton and now Mitchell don't have a huge need for 3 small guards. Ben playing the 3/4 for them would probably be a pretty big boost in all honesty.

Philly should be embarrassed for how they threw Ben under the bus after the playoffs. Basically which got him to get 100% blame for losing to Atlanta. The only reason the series went 7 was his defense against Trae. His defense on Trae was a lot better then Green/Thybulle and even Jrue in the next series.

Re: 2021 Offseason Thread

I saw in a Shams report that the Raptors made an offer that the 76ers didnt like.

I wonder what the offer actually was since it seems like they have no desire to move Siakam,OG,FVV,Barnes.

Guess they were hoping for a desperation move where 76ers would actually accept Dragic,Boucher and a protected 1st for Simmons. Obviously they won't.

I feel for the dude. I'm sure the relationship at this point is unsalvageable. Fresh start would do him great. Shooting the ball would too.

Obviously Ben needs to start shooting however Philly hasn't ever really surrounded him with several shooters. Curry/JJ have been good, but outside of them its been a bunch of average shooters.

Like he literally has a mental block. You thought Markelle Furtz had mental problems with shooting. He won't. Never seen this **** before

I agree that Doc tried to shift blame away from himself. But my guy was a total liability. And he was scared to even have the ball in his hands. There’s a reason he has little to no trade interest from around the league.

Who wants to invest in a $35M+/yr player who can’t shoot and can’t hit FTs?
