That's good. Should be ready for training camp. Lance will have a chance to win the starting job. Will see what they both do.

"Major draft shakeup

Sources say the #Bears are trading the No. 1 overall pick to the #Panthers in exchange for big-time compensation including multiple 1st rounders. Chicago loads up and lands at No. 9, while Carolina can draft its QB of the future."
"Compensation update, per sources: Bears trading No. 1 overall pick to Carolina for:

🏈pick No. 9
🏈pick No. 61
🏈a first-round pick in 2024
🏈a second-round pick in 2025
🏈WR DJ Moore"

I get it for the Panthers. Frank Reich has had 7 different starters since 2018 and for him and the Panthers to go the bridge starter route isn't the right move. So, if they have a guy they like, then make the move. I can even see them going after Stroud. Josh McCown was raving about Stroud in a video

Like it for the Bears. Still have an abundance of cap space and now picks to make a jump this year.

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread

Damn, I figured if the Bears were getting a player it would be Burns. If you’re giving up all that draft capital to get a QB I thought you’d at least want to keep your best target for him to throw to. I love the return, hopefully Moore keeps his helmet on after TDs

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread

I do like the Panthers as a team for a QB to drafted too. You have Reich, Josh McCown, and Jim Caldwell apart of the staff. The only issue with the Panthers is that their playmaking cupboard is beyond thin. Defense already has enough pieces, so I can see offense being the priority this offseason

I like this take.

Keep my dream of Bryce to Atlanta alive! At least until draft day April 27.
