Re: TO is mad at the Eagles for not celebrating. . .

I wouldn't sais anything until after the season, but I would be upset as well. I saw the interview, he wasn't asking for fireworks, just acknowledgement of his accomplishment. Only 6 other players have achieved that honor. All it would have taken was the PA to announce it to the crowd, he would wave at the crowd for 10 secs.

It just goes to show where his priorities are. You don't hear Marvin Harrison doing that. You wouldn't hear Jerry Rice or Tim Brown do that. I guess that's what seperates the "great" from the merely "talented".

Re: TO:Eagles would be perfect with Favre

I'd like to see McNabb come out and start sayin' stuff like, "We'd be undefeated right now if we had Steve Smith instead of T.O." LOL.. He's not that kind of player though.

Re: TO:Eagles would be perfect with Favre

Give him credit foe being honest. He said there record would be better if McNabb was healthy and that Favre brings alot to the table. Maybe poor timimg, but I don't see the what the big deal is.

It's a big deal because football is a team sport, and you don't blame 3 losses solely on the quarterback by saying if you had someone else, you'd be undefeated... especially when it's not his fault.

McNabb's playing banged up, fighting, doing what he can to keep the team afloat (and he is the best player on the team, lest we forget that), and T.O. comes out and says that? That's a problem.

Actually, unless I'm reading it wrong, Michael Irvin was the one who said the Eagles would be undefeated with Favre. Owens was just answering a questions made to him requesting a comment on that opinion.

That's a good point. Why, as a member of the media, would you even ask TO that question? I blame the media as much as I blame TO on this one.

Re: TO:Eagles would be perfect with Favre

He didn't blame the 3 losses on McNabb. You need to watch the entire interview before trying to rip the guy
