Why are people so caught up on aesthetics if the helmet can legitimately reduce concussions?

Because it's all about looking cool no matter what the cost.

I'll concede that increasing the peripheral vision needs to be worked on and I'm sure they'd shave off some of the bulkiness. What the hell do you think the guys that wore the leather helmets said about the helmet they wear now when it was introduced.

I'd imagine you couldn't tell. They probably all sounded like Shannon Sharpe with all the head trauma they went through.

I don't know if you guys have ever wore one of those revoultions, but the last year I played HS ball they got everyone one, and only are they safer, they are comfortable as heck.

Those are some really silly helmets but if they help reduce concussions then that's a good thing.

I just wish they didn't use the Bills though. WHY CAN'T YOU PICK ON ANOTHER TEAM DAMNIT!
