Jerry Jones can't be this stupid can he?? yeah let's trade a young proven back for an unproven back and let's just throw our 2 first rounders in it as well...... If he makes this deal we will be taking steps backwards.

Re: Jerry Jones...Please no

Aren't some of the Cowboys fans concerned the MBIII can't hold up as the lone feature back? He rushed 11 times for 25 yards in the second half of the Divisional round after having a very good first half (15 for 101).

I'm not saying McFadden can, but RB usually is the one position in college that translates to the NFL immediately (excluding stamina) and McFadden is regarded as the most "ready" player coming out.

It's a gamble, but McFadden could that franchise back.

i seriously doubt this happens. It makes no sense.

Jean Jacques Taylor doesnt really get scoops anymore. He does like to throw **** against the wall though.

Is Jerry Jones turning into Al Davis right before our very eyes?

Re: Jerry Jones...Please no

This reminds me of when JJ was previously making all the player personnel decisions.

With Parcells out of the picture, and JJ pretending to be a football guy, the Cowboys decent back to mediocrity has already begun.

in all probability, the writer of this article has no idea what Jones is going to do.

Jean Jaques Taylor has been known to throw **** against the wall quite often to generate interest in his column and his paper. I seriously doubt he knows what is going to happen.

It only really matters in that Barber would need to be signed to a long term deal, and although it would be nice to have a two headed monster with him and Brown, it would be a lot of money to have tied up in one position.

Barber would also be the piece in the deal making up a lot of the value. Both those first rounders are late in the round, and really wouldn't come close to matching what the 1st pick is worth.
