Is 18-1 better than 17-0?

On paper 18-1=17 and 17-0 is 17, but we all know this isn't math or is it?
The Patriots won more games but equaled the Dolphins record, did they accomplished anything?

No it's not because they didn't win the Superbowl. The Pat's played the Jets, Dolphins, and Bills twice. Aside from the Bills no other team in that division was anywhere near competitive this year.

W/ the Pats they got 4 wins from crap teams. I think the Dolphins record and perfect season was much more impressive.

The 2007 Pats would destroy that Dolphins team.

I think it's pretty likely that a team that won 18 games and lost one game by 3 would beat a team comprised of people in their 50s, 60s, and dead folk.

Quick name the loser of the SB in 2005!

If it takes you a while to remember well that's just what will happen with the Pats this year. They're just another team on the heap of SB Losers while the Giants have immortality.

So, no 18-1 isn't better.
