Bears Sign Rex for one year

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3260592

Grossman wanted to stay with the Bears, and Bears general manager Jerry Angelo and coach Lovie Smith wanted to give him one more chance to stay as their starting quarterback. On Saturday, each side worked out a deal in order for the relationship to continue.

Under terms of the deal, Grossman will have a $3 million base salary. He can make close to $2 million in incentives as long as he's the starting quarterback.

Good move. He is the best QB out there and best QB on our team.

Going a little far with that aren't you?

This is Rex's make or break year. It'll be interesting to see how he does with that kind of pressure heaped on him.

Wow Rex and the Bears are like a couple that knows they aren't gonna work but just can't stop having 1 night stands with each other.

Just go your separate ways!

What better option is there for them? There's certainly nobody better than Grossman on the team right now.

Name me a quarterback on the Bears or that will be on the market this year that is worth and better than Grossman.

Letting him go and not giving him at least a year would be stupid.
