Pardon me if they are still held, but for the life of me I cannot recall seeing either one televised in the past few years, although I did see that Allen Rossum won the Fastest Man competition in 200 on Wikipedia.

When I was young these were televised events and perhaps they still have the QB Challenge and I just missed it, but I can't recall seeing one since 2004.

So whatever happened to these events, or at the very least the exposure for these events? It would seem with the NFL's ever growing popularity that a lack of television ratings would not be the reason.

Good question...After looking around, Last year (2007) winner was Jets CB Justin Miller of the NFL Fastest Man Comp...I've heard they didn't do it this past year, but it usually airs of the NFLN

Did a Google search. Evidentally they filmed the QB Challenge last year, but it wasn't shown because of the whole Michael Vick thing. They wanted to edit him out, but didn't have time before the air date.
