I don't understand why he would want to come back. It's not like he was going to get pushed out of the lineup, he was still a very good player when he retired on his own terms.

I have a feeling he won't be back though.

You mean besides the $15.3M+ divorce settlement?

Dude needs all the money he can get.

The Giants are also his family. He left seeing that they could continue to be solid on the line without him... now that's not true. I could see why he'd want to throw them a bone and make almost 10 mil in the process.

I think it's a good idea for both the Giants and Strahan. The Giants line just got worse with loss of Osi, and Strahan needs the money.

I say bring him back.

After reading his book he should stay retired. All the shots he needed to get on the field. I would just chill and make the money being a talking head.

Plus I think all NFL players hate preseason, but now he'd skip all that and just get to play the regular season...no 2-a-days, no dealing with rookies who won't make the team, not as much effort needed, etc.
