Re: Week 2 Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans

And btw I am pretty pissed. This means that the teams bye week will happen at the absolute worst time (week 2) and now the Ravens will not have any form of consistency when they play the Browns for week 3 because the team has not played together enough. Add to that they wasted an entire week of preporation for the Texans. And perhaps the worst thing of it all is that they won't have the chance for a bye week in the middle of the season and get to heal. They are an old team.

I would obviously play your other QB. If the game is cancelled it will be the same as a bye week. What would you do in a bye week?

And if your #1 QB is Schaub I feel bad for you.

I had Andre Johnson this week and needed a big week from him. Now I have to start Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams, I usually don't like to have two guys from the same team starting, but I'm feeling good about this week.

Texans/Ravens moved to November 9, Texans/Bengals moved up to be played during their bye week.

Well...boo-freaking-hoo.

The Texans should lose a home game thru no fault of their own just so the Ravens aren't inconvenienced?

Quit your whining.

Uhhhh....all the things I said also apply to the Texans as well. I am pretty sure the Texans would be willingly to go to a neutral site (I never thought coming to bmore was a good idea) instead of wasting a key bye week. Don't forget along with an entire week of wasted preperation, now they have to play 15 games straight. I am not quite sure if you understand how insane that will be on the players bodies. In addition to this, this early "bye week" ****s up any sort of momentum or anything the players had going on. They are essentially playing cold against a team that is way more meshed when they get back into the thick of things for week three. The positives of playing in a neutral stadium obviously outweigh the negatives. Oh well, moot point as it has already been decided.
