So I know they have Cassel starting right now but if he struggles what do you guys think of Billy Boy starting Kev O'Connell? The reason I ask is, being from San Diego, I watched quite a bit of him in college (even though watching State games can be brutal) and he was always making plays left and right. Granted it was against Mt. West opponents but still. Haven't seen or heard much about him lately other then the Pats are high on him. Just wanted to get some informed takes on the situation. Thanks.

not a pats fan but the fact they aren't rushing to sign someone else is a good sign... after the good sign that they kept him as the #3 to begin with.

Unless Cassel has some monumental struggles, he'll be the starter for the season, with O'Connell as the back-up.

Id think Matt Gutierrez would step in before Kevin imo, but Matt will do fine. Id say 30tds in the season if he plays all 16 games.
