Re: Jaguars/Bills

Feels good to be 2-0, it really does. Last time we were it was 2003. Coincidentally, we beat Jacksonville in the 2nd game to stay undefeated. We finished that year just 6-10... I have higher expectations this year. Beat who we should beat, that's all I'm asking for. Despite the Jaguars' injuries, that defense is still formidable and it was great that we were able to beat them. A good test.

I'm loving Trent Edwards. Coming into this year, I thought he was the best option at quarterback. In only his second year, he's showing the poise of a veteran and not only that, he's playing very well. Completed 80% of his passes today for 239 yards with a score. Also, great to see James Hardy get his first catches and his first TD on a jump ball, exactly what we got him for. We got Oakland and St. Louis coming up and they should be victories, then we get a pretty decent Arizona team in Week 5 before the bye week in Week 6. We could be in good position heading into the tougher part of our schedule.

Awesome game, way to go 2-0 Bills. I think we could be 5-0 at the bye week

Home against Implosion the Team, then away at "We Have No Defense" St. Louis, then away against Arizona.

Re: Jaguars/Bills

The bills special teams are intimidating, the Jags need Porter on the field, even though the o-line was patchwork if they would have had any outside receiving threat we might could have pulled of the upset.

Re: Jaguars/Bills

Bills are looking real good. Better to go under the radar than be the NYJ who somehow got the odds to win the division because of Favre.

Glad the Broncos play the Bills at home instead of on the road

Re: Jaguars/Bills

The Bills were good enough. The Bills have a good balanced team, but need to step it up a little if they want to win their division.

The Jags shutdown the KR/PRs, stopped the RBs, and shutdown Evans until that one long pass. What killed the Jags was the LBs tackling. For some reason the tackling on the short passes has been horrible this year. The defense is blitzing too much and not getting enough pressure, so it leaves the little dump offs open.

The running game was better, but still not there for a full game. The passing attack was horrible. I don't know what they are doing, but no one is getting open. RW and Northcut have done nothing, MJ is the only one doing anything. Lewis has been crap and is becoming a 1st rd bust. Garrard seems to want to stay in the pocket too long when nothing is there.

The Jags must win this week at the Colts or the season is probably over.

I don't think we suck... it's just we can't do anything through the air. If we could get a big play every once in a while, it would put more DBs on the field.
