Re: Jaguars @ Colts

Scobee hit it with room to spare.

Anyone remember the sunday night game a few years back where he almost made like a 65 yarder but it was a bit wide.

He has a big leg.

Scobee has the leg to kick it from 60+, so he just had to kick it straight. Garrard did enough, but the passing game has got to get going. Hopefully this will turn the season around.
Why did we sign jerry porter and troy williamson? to sit on the injury list

Not trying to boast, just curious why you'd pull for the Colts.
I hate Jacksonville.

Re: Jaguars @ Colts

The Refs screwed up another game. Refs don't determine games, but they sure can make it difficult for a team to win.

In the 2nd quarter, Marvin Harrison was grabbed and interfered by Rashean Mathis to allow a pick6. No call. Pretty obvious on the replay, and you could see Tony Dungie, a usually very calm person, loose his top.

In the 4th, Jags have to convert a 4th and 1,with less then 30 seconds to play. They throw incomplete, but wait, the refs throw a late flag on a BS interference call, where the receiver ran into the defender. The defender has the right to that spot too!

Sorry but the defender does not have the right to get in the way of the WR and stop his route.

Yeah there probably should of been a flag for PI earlier on the Jags, but Colts fans need to get with reality, they aren't going to get calls any more. You aren't the top team, the refs aren't going to give you every call. There have been previous games against the Jags where the Colts have given cheap PI flags extending their game winning drives. Don't quickly forget all the other calls the Colts have gotten.

I call bs. The defender does have just as much right to that spot on the field. Its the receivers job to go in front or behind the defender, not threw him (it was past 5 yards as the penalty was for 11 yards, so no contact allowed past 5 yards). So I disagree, and refuse to discuss past games as its erelevant and pretty pointless, to bring it into this thread.

Re: Jaguars @ Colts

I love watching colts games. Manning throwing a deep ball on the 4th down on that last drive was pure balls demonstration.

The PI no-call early was bs, but that happens to all teams during the season. Jags deserve that win.

People counting out the colts already, give your head a shake! It's week 3, and they're getting better every game, and if you haven't noticed, gonzales has a bright future ahead of him and they're getting more people back from injuries.

This is already a great season, and it's just going to get better. I really don't see the colts losing more than 5 games this year. What a division though, the titans are insane, and the jags are comming to life in a big way.

Re: Jaguars @ Colts

No team gets more calls than the Colts. Peyton cries for interference on every incomplete pass.

And no, a defender can't stop in front of a receiver and stop his route downfield. It's illegal contact.
