I don't want us to get any love let them keep sleeping on us. Every talking head for espn said we would finish 4th in the NFC east. I don't want any bandwagon riders this season. The skins are doing big things like was said above there is no reason that we don't end up 8-1 heading into the bye. Plus all three division rivals come to FedEx. We are in great position to make the playoff right now maybe even host a game. I know it's early but whatever. We are 8-1 in our last nine games not counting the playoffs. And we still haven't turned the ball over on offense which means teams have to earn those points against us.

Re: Redskins @ Eagles

If we revert back into 4th in the NFC East again like the late 90s I don't know what I would do with myself.

Now I gotta go in tomorrow and hear all the Skins fans talk. Ugh.

Re: Redskins @ Eagles

Good win Skins. Definitely looking better than I thought they would at this point in the season. Like I mentioned earlier, ya'll are picking up that WCO a LOT faster than alot of people(including myself)thought ya'll would.

But like colkilla said, the GREAT/GOOD teams win the games they are SUPPOSED to win so I'd count the NFC East road trip as the first test ya'll have passed and the next 3 games coming up is the second part of the test.

Re: Redskins @ Eagles

Just like I said....

Quote:
Eagles should've stuck to the script: I was intrigued by something Redskins cornerback Carlos Rogers told me immediately after the game. He said he marveled at the Eagles' first 15 plays of the game, but noticed that things grew stale after that. It's not as if he was trying to badmouth the Eagles, but I think it speaks to how Philadelphia's first drive looked dramatically different from the way it played the rest of the day.

"We'd never seen those plays they came out with," Rogers said. "I'm serious. Those were great plays. But after that, I guess our coaching took over."

I'm not sure those are the comforting words Eagles fans were looking for.

Re: Redskins @ Eagles

That was a great win by the Skins, it's good to see the area so alive and buzzing. Now they just need to keep it up and win vs. the Rams cause I'm going to be there. If this keeps up they could be 7-1 by the bye week.

Re: Redskins @ Eagles

After a dreadful game in week one, you've got to hand it to the Redskins. They are playing with poise, and they're a damn physical team. I, like about everyone else, underestimated them coming into the season, and now they've got some easier games coming up, so they should be in the hunt to the end.

As for Philly, don't we see this every year lately? A couple monster games out of the gate, only to fade into oblivion. While they're still a salty team, no doubt, it looks like last place in the division for these guys this year. Still a ways to go of course.

Washington is winning because of their offensive and defensive lines. Very physcial so far this season.
