It is never a good sign when you are making these kinds of changes in the middle of the season.

About time lol, any change towards the DC couldn't be any worse than TC.

Even though Rivera was DC in the Bears SB run, isn't true that Lovie Smith called most of the defensive schemes like how Norv calls most of the offensive plays on the Chargers?

Agree, not ideal timing, but a change had to be made. At least it tells me the front office believes the season can still be salvaged.

Otherwise, yeah, wait till the end of the year to make a change.

I have no faith in the front office. I don't think they know up from down at this point.

Or maybe they know more than we give them credit for.

Didn't it seem strange to you that Rivera took a lesser position with the Chargers when he had been defensive coordinator with the Bears?

Just something to think about, I guess.

I thought that was due to the fact that him and Lovie started having issues and he didn't want to be there anymore, so he just took a position with the Chargers?
