Back in the '80s they had some matchups where the Lions would play teams that also sucked for the most part as well. It made for some entertaining games. I have an '86 Turkey Day game between the Packers and Lions which was pretty entertaining. Both teams sucked hard that season.

It's that and the fact that the product has just sucked. You have all these guys getting paid millions that have huge egos, your company employs them and they get viewers based on how they act, then tell them they can't express themselves? I'm not a huge showboat guy, but the league makes it's money off of Chad Johnson's, Terrell Owens, etc. but do everything they can to hamper them. That and the league wants everyone to be mediocre instead of the natural balance of teams being better than each other.

The Lions O-Line should be ashamed of themselves. This reminds me of the Giants vs. St.Louis, aka the Great Bulger Sacrifice.

Terrible. Of every position in every sport, the O Line in football is the most disgraceful for phoning it in. Just terrible.
