Crabtree @ #4 for the Seahawks better be a no brainer, provided he's available.

He should be. The Chiefs, Rams, and Lions all need major help elsewhere.

Michael Johnson (DE), Vontae Davis (CB), William Moore (FS), Taylor Mays (FS), maybe even Greg Hardy (DE) can be reached that far, you never know.

Re: Official 2009 NFL Draft Discussion Thread

My wants for the Titans are:

Round 1. WR- Heyward-Bey, Harvin, Maclin, any of those are fine wth me because they all have speed and explosivness which is what the Titans need. They only have CJ for that.

Round 2. QB- Davis, Sanchez (if he comes out). Collins nor Young are the future at this position. Maybe just get one next year in the first.

Round 3. MLB- Jason Phillips, Danell Ellerbe would do the job. Tulluch and Fowler arent good enough.

On other sites Ive seen people think they will go DT in round uno. I sure hope not. Hopfully Haynesworth will stay but if he does leave it will hurt but we have big Tony Brown and young Jason Jones who is a beast and will get better.

Sleeper of the USC guys, Kevin Ellison. While not as phsyically imposing or gifted as Mays, there are those of us who feel he was a better player during his college career, and has a better nose for the football.

Taylor Mays will probably be the first one drafted. 6'3", 230 lbs. safeties who run legit 4.3's are hard to come by. Mays is the fastest player on the Trojans.
I heard Mays runs a 4.26....WOW.

Re: Official 2009 NFL Draft Discussion Thread

I want Smith at 6, but there is no way he drops to us at that spot. Hopefully Oher is still there at that point though. We need OL help in the worst way. Benson looked pretty good at the end of the year. So hopefully that puts to rest any thoughts of us taking Beanie Wells in the first round. Also our defense played pretty well at the end of the season. But there is definitely some spots we need to upgrade especially at DE.
