Are the Giants looking at an 0-5 finish to their season?

Having not scored a touchdown in two games (I don't count the meaningless one with 15 seconds left against Philly), and with games against division leaders Carolina and Minnesota, could the Giants very well could be facing a monumental collapse?

If the Giants lose to Carolina and Minnesota, they lose both home field and their first-round bye. That would mean a likely matchup against Atlanta, Tampa, or Dallas in the wild-card round.

To go from 11-1 and atop the football world to an 0-5 finish and first-round exit would make for an extremely difficult offseason for Coughlin, Eli, and company in that media feeding frenzy in New York.

I think they will beat Carolina. But man, Burress and Jacobs were a huge part of that offense. I was one who thought they'd be fine with their current receivers, but they could not get open all game this past Sunday. And the running game was pretty weak also.

If they get a running game going versus Carolina, they will most probably win. But it will be tough since Carolina is playing good and this game is huge for both teams.

Oh and I think they will beat Minnesota. Jackson and/or Frerotte will be facing a much better defense; it won't be as easy as the Arizona game.

It would be an 0-4 finish, not 0-5. And no I don't think it'll happen. They'll beat the Panthers and the Vikings, wrap up the number 1 seed, and finish 13-3.

They will get at least a first round bye. I don't see them dropping 2 straight.

I see them winning this week, and locking up #1. That is assuming Jacobs will play. They will win at least one of the final 2, if not both.

Man, I gotta say this is ridiculous. Since when do losses carry this much weight? what the Giants lost 2 games now they suck? I am in no way a Giants fan, but as a Titans fan I see the same stuff. 2 weeks ago it was a Giants vs Jets superbowl. Now the Colts are the team to beat in the AFC, wtf? Teams lose games, the Giants arent playing for their playoff lives, they came up flat against the Eagles, oh well, and they lost to Dallas, in Dallas. If the Giants WR's catch a few of those passes 2 weeks ago, they blow out the Eagles. The Giants arent in collapse mode and they will fair very well in the next 2 games.
