Tavarius Jackson is not an NFL quarterback

I like his arm strength... but that's about it.

He seems to have decent wheels but he rarely uses them.

Also seems extremely slow in reading the defense and what they are giving him.

The only offense I'd feel comfortable with Jackson is a Play Action based passing game.

Pound it with Peterson and go deep to Berrian... cause Jackson sure as hell ain't going to hit a WR in stride on a crossing pattern 10 yard out or further.

Seems to do just fine with the hail mary type throws... but otherwise... I don't really see what Childress sees in him.

Crack, but even while I was naked and paranoid watching for the cops it was very easy to tell that Jackson doesn't have it. He might have the tools, but if you gave him 20 chances in the 4th quarter of that game, he wouldn't have scored once.

Unfortunately he uses it to overthrow receivers by 10-15 yards constantly. It's just absolutely terrible.

I couldn't even count the times I watched him in a game and there's a receiver absolutely wide open down field and Jackson throws the ball either 10 feet out of bounds, or 10 yards ahead of him.

The coaching staff and front office butchered the QB decision making right from the day they arrived.

Refused to work with Culpepper (he didn't help matters either).

Traded up to take a small school project multiple rounds earlier than anyone projected.

Ignored the need for a viable starter to enable said project to sit on the bench.

Assumed that Jackson was ready to handle the starting job last year, fail.

Ignored the position again. And no, bringing in Gus doesn't count.

Assumed again that Jackson was ready to handle the starting job this year, fail.

That's three years of a quality defense and running game flushed down the toilet due to a combination of stubbornness and ignorance. Will they add to their glowing history again this offseason?

He is not a good qb he needs to go to arena football and play there and I feel for Minny fans beause your running game and D are sick maybe you can bring in Kurt Warner.
