Wow. Definitely did not see this coming. It'll be hard to find someone better than Gruden. Maybe they'll look to the college ranks.

Im not surprised he is gone, and im glad he is gone. Im grateful for the Super Bowl win, but he never did what he was supposed to do. His offensive numbers are worse or equal to the numbers put up in the Dungy era. Theyve drafted on the below average side, refused to spend, and couldnt close. He is one game above .500 with the Bucs, and in the last three years he is under .500, not stellar.

Of course, hindsight is 20/20, but if the Bucs get someone like Shanny or Cowher, its worth it. I dont think the Glazers will go after another young gun.
