Pfft, Sanches is rated too high. He doesn't even belong in the first round, let alone in the top 10.

However, overall, the second one seems a lot more accurate/realistic.

Re: Kiper's first Mock.

if Sanchez is drafted in the top 5, he definitely made a good decision coming out

I dont see Detroit picking Stafford, or any QB in the first round.

Re: Kiper's first Mock.

If KC doesn't take Mark Sanchez, who do you think will?

Seattle? the other choices seem unlikely through 16...

I just wonder if KC would be better off to take Crabtree or to trade down and get Monroe rather than Sanchez...

not that the qb won't be good, but that Thigpen might be able to lead the team and is a much smaller inve$tment.

Re: Kiper's first Mock.

Sanchez should be taken early in the second round, but because of his size and arm, he'll be drafted far earlier than he should. In a perfect world, the Lions would take Andre Smith with their first pick, get some help on defense or maybe even another offensive lineman with their second, and then with their first selection in the second round, they'd pick up their Franchise QB in Sanchez.

However, to answer that question, I could see Chicago maybe taking a shot at him as, like you said, it's not likely that anyone will draft him if the Chiefs don't until then.

Just out of curiosity why isn't Sanchez a first round pick?? You've said he is a second round pick, just haven't given any evidence or reason to why

Re: Kiper's first Mock.

Why should he be a first round pick? I see no reason for him to be one. Or at least not as high as he's being projected. I haven't seen anything out of him that would warrant a selection within the top 15. Besides, the guy only played one year in college. I don't feel that that's enough time to fully evaluate his abilities.

He only started 15 games in college.

He has outstanding physical tools, but he'll be a long-term project in the NFL.

My reaction to the Titans pick:

.....Wait, I forgot what it was, and my mouse just broke so I can't click to the 1st page and get the URL again. Hrm, yeah that will do. Can anyone help remind me?
