What kind of monkey poop is this???

I don't who said he would be all that you said, but Winslow has been one of the better, if not best tight ends in the league. And that's with the injuries and the sad state of being a Brown.

At least he's not Jamal Reynolds......funny how THAT worked out.

I don't look forward to playing Winslow twice a year. Course w/his health, Panthers may miss him altogether.

He probably wasn't going to stay in Cleveland anyway.
It seems like you and I are the only ones thinking this was a good deal. Obviously, it's not going to look good in the short term. But this is not a team that needed to make one or two moves to push them to be playoff contenders. That was last year... and it didn't work out. It's time to take a different approach.

I don't understand why Cleveland would be upset about this. This is why you're always so average or just flat out bad. You beg for change but when you get it, you cry about it? Then you deserve everything you're getting.

Actually, surprisingly, from what I've heard on the radio, it's pretty half and half right now. Some people are pissed, some are really happy.

I don't think it was a bad idea. If they got a 2nd and 3rd or a 2nd and 5th I think it's a great deal. That's a lot for a TE. He missed a ton of games last year and the offense didn't look drastically different, so adding how much money he wants and the bad press (which included calling out the entire organization for the staph infection problems) it makes a lot of sense.

Looks like it's going to be a 2nd this year, then a conditional pick next year that can be anywhere from a 2nd to a 5th.

I think it was a good move, but I would invest in another WR/TE with great talent.
