You know that there was more to my quote than that. I said as much in the next paragraph.

Im surprised Jerry Jones didnt make the list. Im not really sure how I would judge a good owner vs a bad one since I personally hold alot more people accountable for the success of a team before I get to the owner. Im nowhere near being a cowboys fan what so ever, but Jones lives and dies by the Cowboys and is like their biggest fan which would mean alot to me if I were a fan of the team.

With that said. He doesn't have a clue about how to spend wisely at all. He trust Vinny C way to much for my tastes. Charging for training camp is sorry too. At least for as long as he is at FedEx no PSL's to pay. Like I said he isn't the best owner, but I'd rather have a guy in there that wants to win over a guy who wants to make money as his first priority.
Yea i can see that side of it. And like Cebby said, he does get a bad rep. BUt, there are a few reasons why i dislike him and his choices. Seemed with Gibbs there he calmed down to a level i liked. I dont like the direction he takes with things. Maybe in time he will learn from mistakes and end up being a great owner. At this point tho, i really hate having him. IMO, he is the consistant in our underachevments. But to be fair, im only old enough to really remember him as the owner.

I see him on this list because i dont usually agree with his choices. I really hope he proves me wrong. I did hear a rumor that Cerano is an old friend of his. Not like a high quality gm, is there any truth to that? Does anyone know?

RE: Snyder

I don't much like the guy but I think he gets a bit of a bad rap. (not totally undeserved though) A lot of people in the media seems to forget that Snyder gave carte blanche to Joe Gibbs and didn't interfere at all. That would've worked if he was dealing with the Gibbs of 15 or so years ago but nonetheless Snyder gave the guy 100% control. In taking over the reigns after Gibbs I think Snyder has reigned himself in A LITTLE. You may not care much for Vinny Ceratto but at least now Snyder isn't the one doing everything with the football ops like oh say, Jerry Jones.

I still think Snyder tries to run the team like a fantasy squad but at least he's gained a little savvy and has given himself some self restraint.

That's crazy how much the Steelers and Raiders were bought for back in the day and now how much they are worth.

I knew the Yorks would be on there.

I did too. When I saw the topic title, the Yorks immediately came to mind, along with Al Davis and William Clay Ford.

The direction this franchise has taken since the Yorks took over in 2000 is ridiculous.

For personal, bias reasons, I would have put them up higher.

Realistically speaking though, that bottom five seems about right.

Someone copy and paste the list on here.

As for Snyder, he does get a bad rep from people out there but at the sametime, let's not pretend like some of it is undeserved.

But at the sametime, if he wins then he doesn't get this "bad rep" from folks with the moves he makes.
