Re: Rams Officially for sale

I've never understood why they keep trying to get a team in a place where the fans obviously aren't supportive. They've already had teams go to LA and then have to move elsewhere.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

LA has lost how many pro teams?

The NFL wants a team there, but LA doesn't want one. Its going to take a lot of money to get a team there, a lot more to get a stadium and land. The media can keep talking about it, but I don't think it will happen. The only way it would make sense would be to move the Chargers or Raiders.

They can't ever get an agreement on a stadium in LA. Plus, Crazy Al is still doing his Kim Jong-Il act in Oakland.

I really feel its going to be hard to sell any franchise in these times. There are alot of franchises on the market & not alot of big pockets shopping.

In the modern era, three.

The transplanted Raiders (who never fit), the LA Chargers who did a season and went to San Diego, and the Rams.

And lets not rest on the tired sports cliche that LA won't support a football team because USC does a fine job of putting butts in seats in the massive Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

It all about money. LA is the number one TV market. The NFL think they get more money from CBS, FOX, and NBC if there was a team in LA. I don't understand either...

USC also wins all the time and has a higher chance of winning every year than an NFL team. NFL teams can't go get whatever players they want without having to sacrifice later on due to the salary cap, USC doesn't have to worry about that and can keep getting top 5 recruiting classes every year.

Isn't that 2 more than any city who's had an NFL team?

Doesn't USC not sell out, despite being the best program in the country the last 7 years?
