Jay Cutler looked damn impressive last saturday

My goodness, this guy was wing'n them left and right up the middle and deep at will against the G-Men. I was VERY impressed, infact i almost couldnt believe seeing the bears with a rock solid passing game flowing so well.

FYI - im a vikes and bears fan lol yeah i know, strange but i spent half my life in each MN and IL .. been here in IL for 17 years now...

Its good to see the Bears looking sharp though, like i said i was VERY impressed with what i saw with Cutler that last game. I just rewatched the game mainly focusing on the Bears passing game and its looking very dangerous. If Hester gets down the passing game..he's gonna be deadly with Cutler sling'n the rock around like he does...bears still need atleast one more good WR though..

You can watch some of his Hightlights here from last saturday http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-h...ler-highlights

Well im from illinois and im excited. The defense is not as tough as it use to b, but the d-line and lb's are sick. So if Cutler can put up around three td's a game along with Forte........The bears can go to the NFC championship with ease imo.

If the passing game and the running game it opens up looks like that all year, I'm going to get to watch the games without biting my nails the whole time.

17 points in three drives is pretty nice.

He's no Aaron Rodgers.

***removes homer shades***

He had a nice game last week against the Giants and made some nice throws in there, like the bullet to Hester and the deep pass to Aroshomodu(*sp). Who is going to be the number 2 WR for the Bears?

I know one thing, the NFC North is shaping to be a real competitive division.

I think he's going to struggle at times this season. He makes too many risky throws, the Bears have very weak talent at WR. Devin Hester is their number 1? Because he'd be lucky to be a slot receiver on most other teams. What's going to happen when he doesn't have Brandon Marshall making nutty deep catches for him?

He's a gunslinger. The ultimate tease in pro sports.

Re: Jay Cutler looked damn impressive last saturday

For every half of football like last week, there is a half of football like he played against the Bills. Cutler is the ultimate inconsistent gunslinging QB. I've watched him play, and yes he can make some amazing throws, but he can also make some idiotic throws. He was the reason why the Broncos won AND lost games last year by his poor decision making.
I can see him being a "disapointment" this year, because it seems everybody expects him to throw for 4,500 yards, 30 TD's and 10 INT's. I highly doubt that happens with him to be honest because he still has that flaw in his decision making.
