OS Madden 10 Preview: AFC East

During the last 10 years, the New England Patriots have ruled the AFC East with an iron fist. But the other teams in the division -- the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills -- won't make it easy for them in 2009.

Each team has its own intriguing stories to follow this season. Can the Pats regain their dominance, two years removed from 18-1? Can the Dolphins (and their Wildcat offense) repeat their success from last season? Will the multitude of newcomers to the Jets, such as new head coach Rex Ryan and rookie QB Mark Sanchez, lead them to the promised land? And lastly, how will the Terrell Owens Show play out in Buffaronto?

I think it'll go:
Pats
Fins
Jets
Bills

All four of those teams will be quality though.

1. New England
2. Jets
3. Dolphins
4. Bills

Joey Galloway to New England is unfair. Dustin Keller will be a god send for Mark sanchez. Miami wont be as successful, due to a harder schedule. Zero quarterback, and a banged offense line= no impact for Terrel Owens.

Pats, Jets, Fins, Bills
Harder NFC schedule, Brady is back, every team here runs no huddle, 2 rbs, screens, and only the bills don't use 3-4 defense in the AFC EAST. Leon Washington is gonna breakout this year, Wes Welker will catch 150 balls, Ted Ginn steps up, WildCat will be retooled, 10 TD season for T.O. As for Madden, go with the pats or the jets.

Re: OS Madden 10 Preview: AFC East

Pats...

and then it doesn't matter.

Jokes aside, I've got

Pats
Fins
Bills
Jets

The bottom two are my "stretch" predictions. I know the Jets have some talent, but I see them struggling this year with the transition, with the Bills surprising some folks. I think it will be fairly close after the Patriots. I just don't see them being caught if everyone's healthy.

EDIT: Well, so far, not so good for my prediction...lol. I knew it was a stretch to put the Jets last...just didn't see them as a first place team. Patriots look old, Jets look real, Dolphins are a mess...

Ah well...we'll see how it shakes out.
