I was referring to that.
That was really Shaun Phillips and Stephen Cooper. If you remember it was Champ Bailey and Jay Cutler who did all the talking in the media. And then Cutler continued to pop off.

Hardly a war of words and hardly started by Rivers if you kept up. Rivers said nothing but the right things about Cutler afterwards while Cutler continued to talk.

Rivers is chatty during games, but so is Favre, Marino, Elway, etc. He plays better that way.

Yeah and you know the story about last week right?

How are any of these a war of words? When Favre or Marino do it, they are comptetive, when Rivers does it, it's a war of words.

Know the story before you post.

Okay well I rescind that part of my post but you know damn well if that kind of situation happened in NY it'd be blown up to magnificent proportions. I think my overall point still stands.

Not saying I don't like Rivers, the guy is a helluva QB but I think he'd be highly combustible in the NYC market.

I think he thrives in those situations. He's not one to shy away, he'd be fine in NYC.

At the end of the day, either you can play of you can't. Rivers obviously can play.

Rivers was saying thata boy to Shaun Phillips when he was coming off the field. /

In the Raider game, he told the DL to play to the whistle, and if you watched that game you'd know exactly why.

So he was fined for no reaston whatsoever??? Come on, man.

And Rivers was clearly jawing @ Cutler.

I like Rivers. I like the cut of his jib. But lets be real man. Just because you like a guy doesn't mean everything he does must be defended.

He got a personal foul for taunting. The fine is automatic. No matter what he said.

If you want to believe you know more about it than me. Cool with me.
