Nope. I'm talking about Greeny getting all emotional about, basically, a benign comment. I have no idea why U brought up what U did.

I may have missed your point. Were you trying to say that Greeny would not be criticizing one of ESPN's "cash cows" (such as Favre)? Or were you trying to say he would not criticize anyone he was connected to? That Favre, Sanchez, ESPN analyst part threw me off.

Re: Mike and Mike Rant - Greeny Goes Off

This is what talk radio is about? I don't get why this is a big deal.

Sounds a lot like jock envy.

Dude said the fans don't understand what is going on during a football game.....I would concur that most fans don't have a flippin clue about the game of football except on the surface layer.

People don't get to boo accountants or HMO's or various other professions, why are athletes different? These teams are not the cities teams, they are individually owned. The players work on contracts for these owners (not the fans).

Is Greeny playing the same old card that athletes are somehow lucky? I am sorry but they work there asses off and live a life that has advantages and disadvantages just like any other profession.

Greeny is a carbon copy of what I think is wrong with sports. The focus on this celebrity, financial end of things that has nothing to do with the game. How much analysis does his show do? Do they analyze situations, formations, defenses etc..... Nope. A disgrace.

I could be wrong but I didn't get the impression he was worked up over the comment with regards to booing but he seemed to be much more upset over the 9-5 McDonald's comment.

Yeah seriously. How people miss that part I have no idea. I love the Mike and Mike show, watch it every morning before school, and I love what Greeny had to say (I also loved how the other Mike just sat back and let him go at that player lol)

The same fake, self-righteous indignation I've grown to expect from most of ESPN's "talent". Greenberg is just a bully on a microphone. Save the theatrics.
He's defending a group of people and you talk bad about him?

The things that Hansen said were wrong and he shouldn't have said them. I don't have a problem with what Greeny said.

And I really don't think Favre or Sanchez or anyone like that would say such ignorant and rude comments like that. So you really don't have a point there.
