Week 4: Ravens @ Patriots

This is going to be a tough test for us. The Pats looked like the Pats 2nd half last week, and being back home, maybe there will be some carryover. On the other hand, the Ravens have been pretty solid every game so far this year. Our defense hasn't been lights out, but our offense has greatly improved over the years. Discuss.

I'm going homer pick

Ravens over Pats 24-17

Re: Week 4: Ravens @ Patriots

This'll be a good game. I'm not sure who I want to win though. On one hand, I like the Ravens but it would be a good thing for the Colts if they lost. On the other, I hate the Patriots and always enjoy seeing them lose. With that said though, I'm going with the Ravens in this one. They've been the more consistent team and I like what I've seen from them so far. I'm not sure how Brady will play, they've looked very inconsistent this year and that doesn't bode well when he's playing the Ravens D. Offensively the Ravens have lit it up this year, and they're playing an inexperienced Patriots defense.

i dont know about the inexperienced comment earlier
you got a great front 3 still - Warren,Green,Wilfork
and then Adalius, Burgess, Banta-Cain, and Springs and McGowan
thats tons of exp.

This will be a great game to watch.
Ravens D is gonna bring it against Brady. His mental state is still fragile by his standards IMO

could go either way.

Pats 16-13 overtime

All I know is every time Tom Brady lines up in the shotgun we better come after him.

Another one of those theory vs reality games here. In theory the Ravens should not have problems beating them but in reality I could see NE winning by Baltimore pulling a Falcons move and not showing up in the 2nd half in terms of offense. That Ryan couldn't throw on the Pats in the 2nd half amuses me yet makes me shake my head.

Re: Week 4: Ravens @ Patriots

I don't see the Ravens O not showing up in the 2nd half. I do see the D possibly taking a break, which would be just as bad... giving Brady and friends momentum. This game will definitely be a telling one for the Ravens. There appears to be a chance Wilfork may not play or won't be 100% which will be great news for the Ravens. But unless they act like Rex is still patrolling the sidelines and calling plays, I can see Moss and (to a lesser extent) Watson coming up with some big plays.

In all honestly, I can't pick this game... but since I'm a Ravens fan that gives them a 3 point cushion so 24-21 BAL.
