They clearly don't. But ESPN didn't say Favre becomes the first "Quarterback." I'm pretty sure they said first player which is false.

So Favre is the only QB to beat all 32 teams, but I wonder which QB has won in the most NFL cities? I.E. Beating L.A. Raiders and the Oakland Raiders in L.A. and Oakland respectably would count as 2 cities..... I'm far too lazy to research this, just kinda hoping that sum1 does it for me, lol. Yes, I know this is even more worthless of a stat then the Favre one......

Yep, leave it up to the NFL talking heads to not give any other players some credit.

EDIT
I was talking about John Carney, I believe he's played a long time as well.

I dont know who said what but from the start i have heard it said as he is the first QB to beat all 32 teams. To me that says other non-qb's have done it and other qb's may have beaten all teams that existed at the time. I never once heard the stat as the first player only the first qb. That said i only heard them say it like twice and i havent been watching or reading espn since the game.

They have said player at least once before. But it's not too big of a deal, ESPN has little screwups everywhere.

Either way, it's notable. Shoot, it probably makes him eligible for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Even though I'm sure other players have done it, I'd still hold the stat higher for quarterbacks than any other position. I know every position matters and yes they deserve credit, but the Quarterback is pretty much the team leader and has one of the biggest influences on the outcome of the game. Even if the margin is slight I feel the prestige that comes from this is slightly higher for Quarterbacks. So hats off to Montana and Favre.

Australian punter = Darren Bennett who after playing for the Chargers, went to the Vikings and has since retired.

The kicker, John Carney, is not Australian, . He's been everywhere (Tampa Bay, San Diego, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Kansas City, New York Giants, back to New Orleans).
