Browns opponents record minus Buffalo who they beat - 17-3. They suck but they arent as bad as the Rams and Raiders.

They are actually 1 late drive by Palmer from being 2-3.

Id say they are bottom 5 but not the worst.

I don't think the Rams are that bad. I went to the games vs the viks (hoping Favre hurts himself somehow ) and the first half the rams went up an down on that vikings D but each time they lost the ball by a fumble. Rams are a decent team, especially since they don't have ANY weapons on their team besides Steven Jackson and their D is actully somewhat decent.

The Worst is the Raiders and there is no way u can argue that

About Jackson being ok, I have always thought of his as overrated. I'm not being a homer because I live in Washington, I'm a Titans fan obviously, but I have never seen him do amazing. I mean, yea sure if he had a line he would do better, but this team is so far gone not even AP could get them a couple wins...maybe just one lol.
Kickers are kickers. The differences between them is very determined by how the team is doing. I don't think they belong on any list of what's good or bad about a team bc teams make them look good much more than the other way around.

Smith is hurt... I actually forgot about Long. Either way my comment was about was about who has what moving forward, and Smith, Long and Jason Brown (the center from the Ravens they through a ton of money at) are a good nucleus for moving forward.

Jackson's put up around 1300 total yards each of the last 2 years in only 12 games each... and the team was just as bad with probably more oline problems. In 16 games in 2006 he had over 2300 total yards and 16 tds. I personally think he's definitely more than "ok" but I was really just wondering what "ok but can't do a thing" means, lol. Either he can't do a thing or he's ok (or better than "ok" as I believe). Maybe you meant "He's ok, but not that great"? I still disagree but that'd make more sense.

Toss up between the Raiders and Rams. I doubt even a Rams-Raiders matchup could out-ugly the Browns-Bills game last week, though.

Re: Alot of bad teams in the NFL.

the issue of parity has now been shown to be a situation in which the GMs, scouts, and coaching staff have everything to do with the degree of success/failure.

keep in mind that some coaching staffs, most actually, inherit situations...few truly create them.

bad management brings bad teams...
