Re: Week 10: Dallas @ Green Bay

GB is overrated. I loved them in the pre-season, but their defense has been pretty bad lately. I don't know what the heck Dom Capers is doing sometimes. Dropping Kampman in coverage? Rarely dials up blitzes on obvious passing downs...

He's thrown 1 interception and had 1 fumble in the last four games. Romo is being very secure with the ball these days.

The Packers will have to earn their points on offense, and I don't see any way they can score 31 if the Eagles could only get 16, and the Falcons could only manage 17, against Dallas.

I'm not looking at this game on paper. If that were the case then of course the Cowboys would win. But a lot of games in the NFL don't play out like they should on paper. I just think after two straight losses to Brett Favre and the 0-7 Bucs, they'll practice hard and come out ready to play. Lambeau Field is a tough place to play. I think the crowd will be into it and the Packers will have everything working for them. Plus, it seems like the Cowboys sometimes come out flat after big wins.

So far, Romo has played well at Lambeau. There is still the remote possibility he get's jacked up and makes a few errors in his hometown state as the visitor.

This is true and what worries me. While I think (and want) the Cowboys to win it, this will be a constant concern for me until they've proven they've put the inconsistency behind them. In many ways, this next stretch of games is a bigger test than the Eagles game.

If the Cowboys can prove they are more consistent and play well against Green Bay, it will go a ways towards convincing me this team is actually improved and not the same inconsistent paper tiger it's been.

Re: Week 10: Dallas @ Green Bay

Well, Dallas whooped the Packers tails last year in Lambeau.

The Packers can't get pressure on Romo. BIG problem. They can't protect Rodgers. BIGGER problem. They can't cover recievers. EVEN BIGGER problem. And Dallas has one of the league's best running attacks to go with it.

I know you never know, but every possible matchup in this game favors Dallas.

I said the same thing last week when the Packers played the Bucs. That's why they play the game on the field.

The Dallas running game has been very good, but I think your underestimating the Packers stopping the run. They are pretty good at that, it's the pass D is where the Packers should be concerned, more so the pass rush more than anything else. The 3-4 just hasn't shown up for the Packers, yet.

No need to underestimate Woodson and Harris, either.
