I think D Jack and it is not even close in my opinion. Now D Jacks VS Harvin? Now that would be very tough! Oh I thought you meant about every thing D Jacks does. Miles is fun to watch too.

Re: DeSean Jackson -vs- Miles Austin

What's with all this ______ vs. _______ stuff lately?

Anyway, this is where statistics don't tell the whole story. Jackson DID miss a game (concussion). Eagles have way more weapons than Dallas. A rookie on the other side of Jackson that has over 50 catches and 700 yards. Celek, who had a better season than Witten (IMO). Avant, who should be a starter and Brian Westbrook, Leonard Weaver and LeSean McCoy.

Let us also not forget the Eagles' offense is a big play offense. Lots of quick hit scores. All this with a QB with bad timing and poor pocket presence.

Austin made himself into a great receiver, but Desean Jackson had more impact this year. He took over as the best player from Westbrook on a team full of weapons. That says alot.

While Harvin has been good this year I don't think he has had near the impact for his team that Jackson's had for the Eagles. I don't think it's tough, I think it's Jackson by quite a bit (for now, Harvin has all the potential in the world).

Not to hijack the thread or anything.

EDIT: I say that without looking up a single stat, so if numbers prove me wrong i'm fine with that.

This. You can't compare statistics alone. The Eagles have way more capable players on that team to distribute the ball around. Add the fact that they're a quick strike offense. The comparison between statistics are a little off base.

I had both players in my FF league and Harvin were about equal in points.

Re: DeSean Jackson -vs- Miles Austin

Desean is the better player who had more impact over the length of the season.

This isn't fantasy baseball, football in particular stats don't tell the whole story.

I don't like Miles' hands either...He drops a lot of easy balls.
