Vince Young is going to Pro Bowl

Good for Vince. He has put in the work since his ordeal. The "Pro Bowl" is a joke. The football season is long and hard and these guys are ready for their rest. The day Russell makes a Pro Bowl is the day the NFL is done.

btw, Matt Schaub was named to the game earlier as an alternate after Tom Brady pulled out and Carson Palmer as well as Big Ben declined to play because of injury. Young was the next alternate.

If (when) the Colts make the SB, and Peyton is out of the pro bowl, I wonder who the replacement will be

The Pro Bowl is now a bigger joke than before. Not because Vince Young is playing in it now, but because they moved it before the Super Bowl. So now we're going to have a ton of players backing out because they're in the SB. Couple that with the ones that are injured or ones that simply don't want to play and well.. it's not exactly a Pro Bowl anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the players from the losing teams of the Championship games drop out as well...

They should just drop the game altogether. Just devise an All-star team of some sort (based on production, not popularity) and have it just be an award kind of thing. Does anybody even watch the Pro Bowl? I don't think i've watched one of those games in close to 20 years.

Vince Young shouldn't go to pro bowl... Can't argue with what he's done with the titans since he started. But it's alternate not the real thing.
