Exactly. What is the point of playing the game? It makes absolutely no sense. Just put out a list of everyone that was voted in for the year. That's it. NFL Pro Bowl has to be the worst "All-Star" game of all of the major sports.

I wonder when people will finally realize QB rating simply doesn't tell the whole story with a QB like VY.

The Pro Bowl should just be removed as a game to be played. To reward teh players they should turn it into a friendly skills competition in Hawaii. No player wants to put on the pads & play a meaningless, "friendly" game of football... it just doesn't happen... and this is why you see a lot of the more deserving players back out. Put the guys in skills competitions (bench press, agility, catching, QB accuracy, whatever really), give them face time on tv without the helmets, let them enjoy their day, and not have the league worry about injuries.

At this point they're probably the only legitimate all-star award of the 2000s.

Moving the date looks disastrous enough now that they might put it back in Hawaii. I doubt they'll take away the fan voting; it boosts the popularity of the NFL too much.

You mean like when I said "then you can also factor in his rushing stats as well"? Read the whole post maybe?

I also clearly stated that while it's not the best stat to look at to determine the better passer that Vince Young started 6 game less then everybody else and comparing yards and TD's isn't fair.
