Benson, LJ, Tank, Ocho Cinco, Matt Jones, and now possibly Pacman. Thats a little too much for me, but whatever. The only chance the Bengals have of winning is to take chances on guys like this. I Think they may take it a little too far if they end up signing Pac Man.
Ocho Cinco doesn't fit into that group. Yea he is known for his on the field joking and antics and loud mouth but the guy has never been in an ounce of trouble off the field.

The same goes with the Bengals and Marvin Lewis's willingness to take a second (and third+) chance on guys. While it is fun as a Steeler fan to label the Bengals as criminals, the simple fact of the matter is that the Bengals have been able to find some great talent, maintain pretty solid team chemistry and puts guys like Tank Johnson and Cedric Benson back on track both as players and as citizens. Every time a guy with a criminal incident is mentioned, people automatically say "Oh - the Raiders or the Bengals will take this guy." Well - to be perfectly fair, the Bengals have had a lot more success with actually making this work for their team than the Raiders.

Wow - I can't believe I just defended the Ravens and the Bengals in a single post.
Defended the Ravens and Bengals and agreed with a Ravens fan... crazy. I like seeing it work out for all these guys too. It's a shame Henry passed right when he seemed to be straightening things out too.

That's true, but he can be a distraction so is similar to everyone else in that sense. Definitely not a worry of him getting suspended or arrested though.

Glad Matt Jones got signed, as I've said in other threads he belongs in the NFL.

I said misfits, not trouble makers, of course I know Chad (I refuse to call him Ocho Cinco) doesn't cause trouble off the field. But he is probably as volatile as anyone in that group in the locker room.

On the field and lockeroom trouble concerns me a lot more than off the field trouble.

You just called him Ocho Cinco in the post before this one.

And I get what your saying about him but I don't think Chad is a problem on the field either. Yea he gets fined every week by the No Fun League but he hasnt caused any major distraction or anything recently. He isn't causing drama in the locker room and calling out QB's like TO.

lol! I did didn't I.

He was pretty good this year, but he has been known to cause trouble on the field and in the lockeroom. The guy has had many bustups with coaches, highlighted by the infamous halftime in the playoff against Pittsburgh. Not to mention that he has been back and forth about wanting to leave Cincy. The guy can definitely be a distraction when he wants to be.

And with Chad, you never know what coud set him off.
