Patriots - F.

Everything about the season pretty much sucked.

With all the key injuries on the offensive line and defense at the beginning of the season I thought this team was cooked. I never would have thought they would have went on that little streak they had. Overall the staff/coaches showed poise and stability because, this season could have been much worse. They showed that this team is more than just the stars on the team that everyone knows about.

Post season was a F but, you can't ignore the regular season which IMO was a A+ and the hard work that got put in that season. But the SB is the ultimate goal once you make the playoffs so I give this season a C.
Pure BS. Marty was fired because supposedly we had a SB ready team and he couldn't get it done in the playoffs. So we bring in Norv. 3 years later we are exactly back to where we started.

AJ as smug as he is, has done zero and this is another season of it. Not to mention the final nail in completely wasting LT's career.

You can make excuses all you want, but bottom line, it was SB or bust, and they busted. What happens in the regular season is meaningless, it's how you finish, and they finished by losing at home to a team they had no business losing to. One and done is not acceptable.

Giving them an F is being kind.

What a team has done in the past means zero in this case. In the NFL this is even more true.

Since the realignment, NFC South has been the best division.

I think a grade of B is fair for the Cowboys.

I disagree. Marty Schottenheimer was a great head coach, but there was one problem with him... ..he never won any playoff games with the San Diego Chargers. Norv has won on 3 occasions and even 2 out of 3 of them were against the Indianapolis Colts so they were definitely not gimmes.

However seeing it in your perspective, I can see why you are so disappointed because this was probably the chargers best chance at winning it in the 09 season, since they finished so hot in the regular season. lol btw, maybe you should blame Nate Kaeding (for missing 3 straight field goals) and not Norv Turner for the chargers losing the divisional playoffs game.
