Hey man it could go either way. I'm definitely interested to see how he performs tomorrow; he's been rather polarizing. That being said, it's only one game and won't define Clausen's career in any way.

Aren't you an Ohio State fan? A certain QB in Columbus came out of HS the #1 QB, did a whole lot of nothing his first couple years, but still remained hyped. Does that not count because it doesn't support your argument?

Man tOSU has so much talent every where. Give ND that tOSU D and tell me they aren't BCS bound last year?

Re: The Jimmy Clausen Era.

Let's look a Pryor last year against good teams:

L 15-18 USC: 11/25 177 yds INT -- 10 car, 36 yds
W 31-13 Wisc: 5/13 87 yds TD INT -- 10 car, 35 yds
L 18-26 Purdue: 17/31 221 yds TD 2 INT -- 21 car, 34 yds
W 24-7 Penn St: 8/17 125 yds 2 TD -- 5 car, 50 yds
W 27-24 Iowa: 14/17 93 yds -- 8 car, 29 yds
W 21-10 Mich: 9/17 67 yds TD INT -- 19 car, 74 yds

He's over hyped as they come. What terrible number but OSU is rated #2 because they have a stud team overall.

I agree it won't define his career at all. Rookies struggle in the NFL at all positions, but especially QB. I'm just bitter that the Panthers were 12-4 two years ago and are now starting their 3rd different QB in the last 6 games because of terrible performance. I don't understand how the Panthers can have 2 great RBs but only 1 receiver who should be playing in the NFL (Lafell notwithstanding because I think he can be a legit #2 in time) and haven't even attempted to get any of the WRs that have been on the market lately.

Also, I still haven't gotten over the sudden and colossal demise of Jake

I'd really like to see this countered.

I mean let's say Clausen puts up those numbers against those teams...

They go 1-5, 2-4 at best based on the talent of the team overall.

Instead tOSU goes 4-2 and Pryor plays one decent game. If Pryor was better they easily go 6-0 and play for the title.
