Pryor has a heck of a lot more talent around him at Ohio State than Clausen did at Notre Dame. And with playing vs. crappy teams, Pryor's play was actually one of the biggest reasons Ohio State lost to Purdue last year. I think fans across the country just hate Ohio State less than they hate Notre Dame.

Re: The Jimmy Clausen Era.

Yeah they do because of the hype that Notre Dame gets every year despite doing absolutely nothing of note for at least the past decade.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Yes that is right. And jmood pointed out the reason why. If Ohio State was a mediocre team every year, and still was hyped up every year, you would see a lot more people hate them.

Re: The Jimmy Clausen Era.

If all the ND abhorers are so desperate for ND to not be relevant. Stop talking about them. Sheesh.

Jimmy Clausen isn't going to suck just because he was a hyped college player at ND. He's going to suck because he's just not good at playing quarterback. If you pointed out every time the media was wrong about a player, you could fill 10,000,000 message boards.

The media loves ND. We know it, and it's funny. But complaining about it won't change anything.

Re: The Jimmy Clausen Era.

This topic is about a guy who played at Notre Dame last year with Notre Dame fans/apologists accusing everyone who doesn't dislike him of being biased against Notre Dame, that's why it was brought up. I've already admitted that I don't like the school but it wasn't the "Notre Dame abhorrers" who brought them up, it was a Notre Dame fan. Also, people not talking about them on this message board aren't going to make them irrelevant.

Re: The Jimmy Clausen Era.

I understand that. But arguing with ND fans is like trying to convince someone who thinks the sky is red that it's actually blue. You can't win. I choose to walk away.

Re: The Jimmy Clausen Era.

Assuming you're talking about me, I hate Notre Dame. don't know why you think otherwise.
