Re: Minnesota waives Randy Moss

As a Vikings fan I think it is time to clean house from management to coaching. This group clearly doesn't get what it takes to have a winning team. They put together a good group of players then make decisions that leave you thinking WTF? Moss if nothing else was the perfect decoy in the offense by taking up two DBs every play, and now it goes back to the terrible offense we had early on. It is time for some new faces in management and leading the team after this whole Moss thing I think everyone outside of normal Vikings fans are seeing what we have had to put up with.

It leads to a more fully realized offense where they can rotate some of their younger guys like Tate while still having veterans who are very capable of getting the job done.
I guess the addition of Branch deserves SOME merit, but I think you're giving him waaaay too much. He had a decent game against the Ravens soft zone but hasn't done much of anything so far since. I also wouldn't call him a deep threat. His good game came from basically sitting down in space. I haven't seen him catch a deep one yet and only remember seeing one attempt to get to him deep. I haven't watched every second of every Pats game though. It seems this new look Pats team is pretty much just working without a deep threat. Bring Moss back and that avenue opens back up again but I think Branch becomes what Stallworth was there before... not much.

Oh man, this is awesome.

And Moss back in NE would make the front office look like the best front office in sports, but I don't know if I want him back on the team.

You're probably right but I was more talking about flexibility with the offense and not necessarily the actual gameplan which I agree with you is more akin to the offense back in the early 2000s then what we've been accustomed to the last few years.

I'm hearing that if he isn't claimed in 24 hours he can sign anywhere he wants. Is that correct?

Re: Minnesota waives Randy Moss

Has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe he just isn't that good any more?
