Re: Week Six:Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers

That deep ball was a ridiculous throw. That right there is a QB making a WR better. He's saying "I'm going to put this ball up perfectly for you, and you have to catch it." and he did, that was man coverage too, so it wasn't like he hit a wide open guy in our prevent. The accuracy was very impressive today. Like I said, even on his first pick (the one that wasn't fourth quarter) he made an accurate throw, just a ballsy throw that backfired.

I'd keep him in there if I'm the Browns. Despite the outcome, that game had to give you guys some hope.

Re: Week Six:Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers

This was really the only game of the year the Browns weren't even close. To be expect, seeing as how the Steelers are once again on their way to another playoff birth.

Hope there is nothing wrong with Cribbs and MoMass.

EDIT: Also interesting the Steelers don't have confidence in Reed to kick a 49 yarder.
Well, it was into the notoriously tricky open end of the field and Reed has been having some struggles this year. My question is why did they keep throwing on 3rd down late in the game when they just needed to run and kill the clock.

Instead, we get a delay of game for kicking the ball out of bounds to allow an injured player up.

k.
Like others have said, I think he thought it was a fumble (as did I for a minute) and was kicking it out of bounds to prevent the Steelers from recovering. I also thought the hit preceding that was questionable.

Looks like Colt did pretty well for himself: 23/33 (69%), 281 yds, TD/INT 1/2, etc. I expected to see a stat for "Limbs Lost" added to the stat line for this game, but appears the kid made it out in one piece.

Harrison's quote after the game:

Quote:
"I thought Cribbs was asleep," said Harrison, the 2008 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. "A hit like that geeks you up -- it geeks everybody up -- especially when you find out that the guy is not really hurt -- he's just sleeping. He's knocked out, but he's going to be OK.
Be it legal or not, Harrison is a total moron.

Yeah, don't worry, those silly concussions are not a serious injury...

I'm sure Harrison's not worried about injuring his brain. It's not like he'll ever need it.
