The 'Skins work out....(gasp)... Jamarcus Russell?

It's Jamarcus Russell! The greatest... Nahh.. I wasn't really going to say it. Mainly because of Shanahan's move benching McNabb, claiming his unfit, and I also just found out they worked out J.P Losman too.

2 QB's worked out after all thats happened these past few days.

They do this EVERY Tuesday literally(along with other teams since Tuesday are mandatory days offs for teams). They brought in 20 players today including Russell, doesn't mean they're seriously considering signing all 20 of them.

Ok, but why work out a guy you wouldn't even consider, at all? The fact they even allowed him to work out means they think he might have a shot at being a solution to their QB problems. Of course, they are not going to sign all 20.

Just to do what you said: Work him out LOL. This is what alot of GMs do in that they'll bring in guys who they already know have no intention of signing.

Do you really believe they would turn to Jamarcus Russell of ALL people to turn their QB Play around? Seriously man LOL. They brought in JP Losman too but I don't see nobody up in arms over that.

Because JP Losman looked like a real QB lol. Personally I wouldn't even invite JR in for a workout. Some of his "bad" vibes might spread through out the stadium lol. On a serious note, how do you think this makes Donovan feel after what happened? I would be insulted with the mere fact that they brought in Jamarcus Russell. You can bring in anybody to work out but don't bring in Jamarcus Russell.

teams do this all the time. they also do it as favors to agents to get their clients' name out there, help them get looks from other teams. he has talent (more than the 2 backups combined), they are just doing their due diligence man...
