I guess in the future, if you score a TD, walk up to the ref and accidentally drop the ball before you hand it to him, it should be ruled an incomplete pass.

But why is it INCOMPLETE? If anything, it should be a fumble in the end zone.

I think it should have been a catch, but the rules are the rules even if we don't like them. Foster clearly had possession as he was going down. He had the ball palmed in his right hand, how can you palm a ball and not have possession? The ground can not cause a umble, yet it can cause an 'incompletion'?

I just dont get it. If you have possession and you have crossed the opponents goal line, its a TD. Play should be dead that exact instant
