Yes he did and the worst part is most of those sacks didn't come in at clutch times like on important 3rd down or much needed pass defendable plays. What made his season even more quite was the fact that the secondary was so abysmal he had to play coverage and run more than he's ever had to before; while he's no slouch in those aspects, we can all agree Ware plays best when running into the backfield and not away or along it.


I read a lot of people talking about roster turnover with the squad and I do agree it should probably happen. One thing I'd be interested in seeing is what the team does with Terrance Newman. The guy had nagging injuries throughout his career that - I feel - stopped him from being considered one of the top third in terms of DBs, and wonder what would happen if the team considered moving him to a safety position. The guy plays pretty well in space, is a solid tackler and has good ball hawking skills - not great hands though - but his speed has majorly declined.
